I have a few questions about archery generally. Thanks to those who take the time to answer. - Does anyone have any strategies for aiming and hitting the target? My arrows always seem to just graze the right of the target. - What bows would you suggest a beginner get? I dont want the gadget-y or crossbow bows, but just the metal-ish ones you bend to put a string on. - And how much would that kind of bow (with arrows) cost? - Does anyone know any exercises to better the muscles used for archery to improve the distance the arrow goes, aiming coordination, and such?
Are you looking for a traditional bow? If so, I don't think I will be of much help with anything, unless you are looking for high end Olympic style equipment. Even then I just know what direction to point you in. Michael
from the way I read your post.....you seem to be from a different country:noidea: doesnt really matter, just like to know who we are talking too Check out the hoyt and PSE recurves......
um I dont really know what they are called but.. it is a strait metal bow piece (no special gadgets on it, just the bow and string) in which you bend to place the string piece on. im clueless.. :noidea:
no lol im just a normal USA dudette lol..... who has done archery a couple times, but is otherwise clueless about it
I think you should find a good pro shop and check out some of the offerings in person. Try a web search for "Traditional archery", or "recurve bows" and see if that gets you anywhere. I know Hoyt has their traditional line listed on their website.
haha :biggrin1: lol well, it looks like this, but it is metal, and has a handle-grip thing http://www.cincinnatitrackers.org/images/good_bow.jpg
