Today I shot a group at 15 yards. I was slightly elevated over the target about 3' total from the ground. I'm not able to raise my site any higher without obscuring it with the riser. I know I have to move the pins left..but at 20 yards and level with the target would I be shooting higher? http://s43.photobucket.com/albums/e376/wolfsasleep/?action=view¤t=Project3.jpg
Lol thanks for the group comments. But the issue is I can't raise my top pin anymore..if this is me being a bit elevated at 15 yards..will this pose a problem at 20 yards or will it be "close enough" for hunting purposes. I'm not a huge bp morph person, but I do like some of the more interesting colubrids. If you ever have a decent price on red tailed green ratsnakes or mangroves I may be interested.
Ok...It looks like your high and right on like a 2" spot but the group is great...at 20 yrds that may drop an inch or so and put you right in there...as far as hunting it's fine...if you can keep it in a 6" spot you should have no trouble
The only snakes I keep and breed are the BP's I just think its cool that we have some reptile people in here.
I help mod a small reptile chat forum. My other hobbies besides this new one are reptiles, amphibians, invertabrates (tarantulas, scorpions, centipedes), stomopods (mantis shrimp), tropical fish, and semi modern firearms. So feel free to PM me about any of the above for chatting purposes.
