So I just picked up an STS at Cabelas in the bargain cave and threw it on the Guardian. Unbelievable!! It makes the same sound as the 9 mm with a silencer Jack Bauer uses on 24 :biggrin1: :biggrin1: , but quiter. Just for kicks, I got out my old PSE Fire Flite I bought 3 years ago when I was getting into archery and shot it. It sounded like a canon in comparison. Just when I thought the Guard couldn't get quieter, the STS took it up a notch. Pretty cool. And, no, I do not work for Bowtech or the makers of the STS, whoever they are.
I agree. As cheap as those things are there is no reason not to have one on your bow. I have a matching css from meanv2. I didnt think my guardian could get any quieter until I put it on. rick
I agree with everyone else... but I wanted to up my post count The STS is awesome and I have yet to see a bow that doesn't benefit form one!
I got mine from meanv2 on archerytalk. I dont know if there are others that sell matching camo ones or not. rick
Camo... There's a guy who makes a copy called an SSS in mossy oak obsession, I think, on ebay and on his website www.shawnsarchery.com. I haven't tried one. You just measure the distance from the back of the bolt hole to the string and he custom makes one for your bow - it's not adjustable. I have the original STS for my Guardian and just ordered a bow rattler to try on my Allegiance.
Here is a pic of the sss I saw at www.shawnsarchery.com. Again... I'm not promoting the product because I haven't tried it. I just came across it once.
You can do better....... I have installed Windstalkers on a Guardian and a Commander both with STS doubles and they are flee fart quiet.
Would'nt work.........................have you seen some of his spelling???? But I agree the STS is a great product.
