Sounds like a good time for sure. Question is......why do you still have backstraps in the freezer? Those are the first things gone for me.
We have a wind advisory today so I probably won't be grilling today, I'm jealous.
Yeah, I know. My wife is only now developing a taste for venison so i just about have to eat it all myself....I'm kinda ashamed this hasn't already been taken care of :doh:
No grillin in Louisiana today. charcoal is wet and wind blew out gas grill. LOL. Good thing the girldriend cooked yesterday, no power today.

I think nice big bold Italian Amarone, ooohhh.. better yet, I have a deep, rich, hearty Australian Cabernet that's been aging in a Hungarian Oak Barrel for the past year.
