I can't correct the left hand tear Approximately 2" long(tip left of the fletch) no matter what I do with the rest. Allthough I am pretty accurate at 30 yds. I would like to pratice at 50 yds. Please Help!!! Mathews SB XT Left Hand 70# 27" Drop Zone Beeman ICS 400 with short vanes 100 Grain field tips.
Well! Are ya grippin the bow at the shot? Or is your nockpt set right? It dosnt always have ta be your rest! Sometimes even arrow spine to heavy will pitch your arrow!
it aint gonna work no mater what you do, get rid of it and get a good rest that wont ware out on you...... Drop zones are JUNK, the only rest that has a rebuild kit......:bored:
no kidding. A new rest will solve all of my paper issues. I am new at the bow hunting game and Im just trying to increase my accuracy at longer distances. The tears are really 2" long.
go by your groupings at each yardage. If your tight at each leave paper tuning alone. I'm a firm beleiver to many people use this as law. Which causes more problems than cures. I never paper tune. I cant remeber the last time I did... Been years..
I am another left hand XT torquer..... The bow shoots great but I ve never got it to paper tune well...:noidea: Bottom line for me after two years of messing with it is....... Mathews grips suck!!!!!!!!! I ve finally come to terms with it... it'll hit where I aim it just don't try shooting it through paper. I got good broadhead flight to 50 yards...all I need.eace:
Buy a pro series QAD, just make sure its got the LD(lock down feature). The hunter series QADs are cheapies(avoid them), just buy the pro series and you won't regret it. Drop zones are a pain in arse!
