does anyone know where to find a cheap fletching rig? or is it possible to make an effective one? because i want new vanes but to get my arrows refletched it cost just as much as the arrows did when i got them. and i mean a low cost rig not expensive! :peace:

The classifieds are golden here. Ronhop is selling one that may be in your price range.

I know the Blitzenberger's are pricey but worth every penny IMHO, but I'd check out the classifieds or even E-Bay

Left or right handed w/ left or right helical it doesn't matterthe arrow starts to spin around 3-5 feet out of the bow so it makes no difference which you use, unless you use feathers...Left wing- left helical and right wing-right helical...A helical will give you a harder spin which should stabilize the arrow faster...I shoot everything w/ a 2 degree offset...

I say go with the Bitz...but if you want to get your feet wet cheap, an arizona EZ fletch...but you won't get a helical out of it...

Another vote for the Grayling jig and Saunders NPV cement is the best all purpose glue I've used, it's slower but will stick to aluminum, fiberglass, carbon or wood.
