The local MFA sell's a spray tick and mosquito repellent called "Durvet".You spray it on your cloth's....don't seem to have much of an oder....and says it lasts 2-3 wks and you can still wash your cloth's and it still works...still kills ticks....Anyone know of this product or have used it.Thanks.

Never heard of it, but even if it washes out I'd be willing to try it. Never seen ticks as bad as this past turkey season.

We went to a farm auction....after 50yrs they were moving into town.I bought the last can he had (he had a case starting out with) and he told me it was the best stuff he ever used.I'm not to crazy about spraying something on a set of my hunting cloth's but the seed ticks this year are the worst i've seen.:noidea: Once they make it to my neck and ears it's time for a bleech bath...other than that,i can handle them.

Sounds like the permithrin (sp). Wally world had something called permathon, spray the clothing only and let dry, lasted several washings. I think Dicks sells the same stuff under a different name, but the active ingredient is the permithrin. The stuff I had from wally world worked great, no odor, no ticks.

That is the ingredient...Permethrin.Think i'll try asking a couple local vets tomorrow about...got a feeling that the...vet....in durvet has something to do with animal vets.

I use a product (Icant remember the name) that works well on ticks and skeeters. Plus it smells like dirt.

I will find out who makes this stuff tonight.
