After seeing the gun and bow cabinet you built, I don't think you will have any problems.
what gimmick vanes would you be refering too????
LET ME GUESS.........
vanes need to at least 7 inches wide and 37 inches long......:frusty: :frusty: :frusty:
I would say so.........
I fletchmy own and family with a bitz and straight jig. Kinda fun like tying your own flys I guess.
oh lets see quik spin vanes...I think the gimmick is those lil fragile glued on black kicker blades on the back of the vane. I like a light helical 2.3" 3D duravanes for mechanical, target and 3D with a properly spined shaft and good FOC of course.
Me too. Started out because I am too lazy to drive somewhere to refletch arrows. Then I just started building my own from raw shafts.
Makes it easier to experiment too.
GLUED ON KICKER?????.........PLEASE, IF YOU ARE GOING TO POST SOMETHING AND YOU DONT WANT TO SOUND SO STUPID....GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT....:frusty: :frusty: :frusty:
THE WHOLE VANE IS MOLDED...........
DUDE JUST SHUT UP
Here it is, new sig for you bunny

Some people just can't help themselves. :noidea: :frusty:
somebody needs a time-out. :tape:
Could you post some pics of them vanes long draw?
glued, molded, chemically bonded, riveted, super argon heliarc plasma welded? who cares...the point the NAP lil kicker spin accelerator thingies fall off or tear quite easily.....and theyre pricey. For $20 to fletch a doz. you would hope they vanes would be durable. I think your better off with a quality, no gimmick vane. I also believe a softer , flexible vane adds some degree of foregiveness to the arrow over super stiff fins like the blazer, particularly in target applications.
I fletch my own, it's a blast and saves you allot of money from having someone else repair them for ya
fletching your own saves a freak'n fortune, even I have learned how to do it. I'm even now considering trying the wraps but don't feel like paying a $1 each. If I had some freebies, I'd try it.
Slippy, do you need some wraps buddy? PM me your address. I'd hate to see someout out $12 that they don't have.......:biggrin1:
and as longas there is NO WIND......his vanes will be safe........:tape:
JC, when I split an arrow, which happens a lot, it costs me $5.50 at a minimum. If I had the high dollar wraps, it would cost me an extra buck ya know. I made some custom wraps at work with those sticky address labels but those didn't work out.
