How short is too short for your arrows? My field/3D arrows for my target rig are pretty friggin short....make me a little nervous at times just looking how close they are to coming off the trophy taker. they are probably a centimeter past the arm at full draw. Is that too short?
Not in my book I've always cut my arrows pretty close. You should have no problems if you can't over draw and pull'em off:biggrin1: Dan
I have tried to overdraw and I can't do it....but I have had them fall off the rest before so I will NOT use my BT release with those arrows! I could see myself letting down and shooting one of them through my arm. that would kinda suck!
A centimeter past the arm should be plenty. Are you having issues with the wall on the bow being mushy and being able to pull too far into it ? Ron
I though you shot a BT. So do I and one of the reasons is the wall. It won't move unless you loosen that allen screw on the drawstop... I don't think you have an issue bud. Ron
You know you're arrow is to short... - When you're bow asks if its on yet... - When the arrow "doesn't make the grade" and the bow tells it that its okay, it happens to a lot of arrows - When the bows points out that speed is important but so is lasting the whole tournament - When your bow asks if the arrow wrap is to big - When your bow looks longingly at a neighbors arrows and says "I wonder what it would be like to shot those.
how do you come up with this crap??? had a buddy that said his bow told him his brothers arrows were bigger......
Oh yeah. Thats what they call the Bowtech Tribute Rodeo edition... you basically start shooting, lean up and tell the bow that a Hoyt shoots better and with less recoil and then fire as many arrows as you can before the limbs explode
Mine are 25 inches long. I have T-Rex arms so I can get away with it. My buddies say it looks like I'm shooting crossbow bolts.
