this is or favorite Darton shooter and I just thought maybe he could use some pointers....eace:
Awesome form there, who is that PRO??? He looks like a barber I used to know.
Two things I can see without really nitpicking. He needs to shorten the loop and/or release. He has a bend at the wrist in the drawing arm causing him to over stretch. That's the reason his forearm is higher than the elbow. The draw length of the bow doesn't seem too bad. Maybe a hair long, but not too bad.
The other is that the writst sling appears to be pretty tight. This can cause torque. Loosen it up.
That's all for now.
How the heck can you tell from that pic the wrist sling appears tight?????:noidea:
I have to agree w/bfisher sorry hoosier.....it does "LOOK" tight
yeah, they said that about me too:noidea: , it was actually very loose.
Its hard to tell but is this guy closing his left eye???
Who cares what you think your just upping your post count.:tape:
Same thing happened to me. Mine was just laying loose on my wrist.
He may be squinting just a tad.eace:
He is afraid I might catch him :biggrin1:
I close my left eye, is that bad :noidea:
He is always afraid of something.:biggrin1:
Closing your eye could mean you are shooting with the wrong hand(eye). You may be left eye dominant.:noidea:
nope, I passed the test with right eye dominance, I plan on trying the both eyes open thing. I shoot a rifle the same way, just easier to focus I guess.
Please read and interpret my post and then yours. The key word is "appears". Yes. it is hard to tell exactly, but it "appears" to be tight.
opcorn: opcorn: this is gonna be better than a movie....
how long is he going to hold that thing back ? let'er fly!!!
I read "appears" I even put it in my reply I just wondered how you could tell from that dark pic.:noidea: It just looks to me that it is laying on the top of his wrist as mine does. No offense there gee just asking how you came to that conclusion.eace:
It looks like a tourniquet!!!!
Thanks for the input...:biggrin1:
The sling is looser than it appears...
and I'll try shortening the release some more...
thats you and all along I thought it was some pro.....:tape:
