I have an older Hoyt Viper single cam bow. The DL is about 30" on the smallest adjustment. I need to get it down to 28". Anyone know where I can get a replacement cam that will do that? I'd also like a little more let-off, but would be happy with just the shorter DL.

    String Length

I'm brand new at this & I'm not getting much help from the local shops. They just want to sell me a new bow. I would if I could, but it's not an option right now. So here's the rookie question: Since I haven't found any other cam modules yet, can I shorten my draw length with a shorter string? If yes, how much shorter would it need to be to take it from30" to 28"? Be gentle. :D

No you can't shorten your DL w/ your string, well not that much...maybe a 1/2"...
You are gonna have to find a cam...have you tried to contact Hoyt?
