If I have been using Carbon express Terminator hunter @ 11-12gpi
If I switch to a new arrow such as the Maxima or Maxima 3-d select with a gpi rating of 8.2 gpi, what kind of "reactions" will happen? I would imagine the new arrows will fly faster, will I have a significan loss in kinetic energy? Will I notice my bow noise going way up when shooting the new lesser grain arrow? If I start having a noise issue what can be done to rectify that problem? With the new much straighter arrow will my grouping become tighter?

you'll gain a nice amount of speed

as long as the spine is correct you'll notice no difference in accuracy

You will gain a decent amount of speed, not much difference in KE or noise I would'nt think. As far as groups that all depends on you and your form. Good luck:peace:

I just switched from the heavier CX 350's 12.2 gpi to CX 3D select 300's 8.1gpi and haven't really noticed more noise or vibration. Definitely more speed. Old arrow weight was 511. new arrow weight is 389.
