I am going to a 3D shoot tomorrow being put on by a large church. I am going to give them 2 Quick Stands to use as door prizes. But what I want to offer them also is to let me sell my stands there for 30 dollars and donate 5 dollars from every sell to the church. So does the sound cheap or tacky of me? The church could stand to make around 250 dollars if I sell the 50 stands I am going to take. I am doing it to get the masses to see them. To me it is a win win win deal church gets more money, I get more sells, people get a great product, then there friends will see theres and want one. So should I just go and shoot or offer to sell and shoot? Where is smokes he is the one I really wanted to ask.
Hey this is avery kind and generous thing gonnin' on here. Almsot 15% to tha church and two free hey thats outstanding. May have ta put on a shoot QSA and invite you:biggrin1: .
From you thanks I just do not want them to think I am using them. At all charaty shoot I go to I donate 2 stands as door prizes. Just giving back.
We do events at our church all the time and there is almost always merchandise for sale from the different groups or organizations involved.
I think I would just donate the two stands as doorprizes and ask them if it's ok to set up a booth and if so if there's a fee. At the end of the shoot just walk up to the church rep and hand them a chunk of cash and say you want to donate it. Unless you were planning to have a sign on your booth saying a portion of each sale is going to the church.
Yes a sign. 2 fold, it will give some of the guy a reason to tell there wifes why they spent 30 dollars on a stand. But honey some of the money went to the church.
I would think it would be a great idea. Talk to the people in charge, put up a sign, and sell, sell, SELLLLLL????????????
Well could not find the head guy this morning so it was a bust. But I still gave to for door prizes. They were very happy. It was a very tuff course. I shoot the best I have all year. I was like a 25 target iron man shoot.
