Hello yall. had to give up archery for about 7 years while I took care of my wife who past away 2 years ago. I have caught all the fish around here {lol} so I thought I get back into archery again. had to crank my bows down to 50 lbs. surprised me . still putting them in the spot. hope to get back up to 60 lbs by hunting season. no deer. want to get a black bear with a bow. wellll if I saw a monster buck I would take a shot. should have a good chance at getting a bear. they have taken over here.

Archery does seem to use muscles that don't normally get exercised. Even if you end up at 50# you should be OK. Use an arrow with decent weight and make a good hit.
