I went to shoot my bow for the 3rd time today and shot an arrow inside another arrow from 20 yards. Obviously I was trying to get a good group, but never expected this. Since I am new, I do not know if this is just something that happens once in a while, or if this is as rare as a hole-in-one in golf. I have attached some pics. Let me know. :whoo:
The more you shoot groups, the more that is going to happen as you improve. Try shooting at a 5 spot target. It will cost you less money in the long run.
It doesn't happen all that often. It's fun when it does until you done it a few times then it just gets expensive.
Don't listen to them CTHunter. Keep shooting groups its only money you can make more. Message to self "Buy stock in arrows" Nice Job there but I will have to agree you need to start shooting some 5-spots. The first couple of times its cool from then on its just like tossing money out the window.
I did it twice in one day on two different occations. Get a five spot target. Arrows cost to much. Unless you can afford it!
That's cool Bit it's more fune when you do it to someone elses arrow. Then you are only out 1 arrow and if you pull it out...none:laugh:
thats a great accomplishment. ive never done such a thing but im sure it get old real quick. even if you have the money buying new arrows all the time gets old i had because i kept bending those aluminum arrows and then i discovered carbon.
its alot more commen now days, with the uni bushing style nocks and the speeds, got alot bigger hole in the back of the arrow to hit, anyone remeber the old days when all the aluminum arrows were swedged and we glued the nock on? those were tough to robbin hood, I read somewhare that it took an average of like 150,000 trys shooting 3 arrows at a time to robinhood the old school arrows...... Dont get me wrong, its still a good thing to get one now days.... i have a few cool ones im proud of...... congrats on yours!!!!!
