Orion Archery of Blair, Nebraska will be hosting the"Brandon Tomcak Memorial Kids 3D Shoot" on Sunday, June 3rd at the Lake Cunningham outdoor archery range on the north edge of Omaha.

Brandon Tomcak was tragically killed in a car wreck (2) years ago. Dedicated to Brandon’s memory, this is our 2nd year for a shoot geared for kids where adults can have fun too. There will be a (20) animal 3D course and novelty shoots for kids as well as adult novelty shoots. Raffle and door prizes include items personally donated by Ted Nugent and Michael Waddell. In addition, we will be giving away a Mathews “Outback”, Parker “Buckshot” kid’s bow, Ameristep hunting blind, and variety of gift certificates and coupons from local sporting goods stores, Dairy Queen, McDonalds, Burger King Godfathers Pizza, and many more. This year we are awarding (2) $500 scholarships and we will be sending (4) kids to the “Ted Nugent Kamp for Kids” scheduled for June 10th.

Along with members of the Orion Archery Club of Blair, Nebraska, the “Ted Nugent Kamp for Kids” organization will be offering guidance and equipment for those who have none and just want to try their luck.

Everyone will walk away a winner with great fun for the whole family. All kids, shooting as future BowHunter or Cubs, will receive medals while plaques will be awarded to winners in the older youth categories. Awards for adult shooters will be the extreme satisfaction of contributing to a good cause.............the future of archery ........Kids

The cost for the (20) animal 3D course and registration for door prizes is only:
" A Suggested Donation of $5.00 per Shooter". Now that is a real bargain.

Concessions will also be available on site.

Last year with (102) registered shooters, we gave away a kid’s bow complete with a rest, site, quiver, carbon arrows, and release. Prizes also included more arrows with a quiver, a ground blind, miscellaneous archery items, gift certificates and coupons. We had toys for the younger kids and archery supplies of all kinds for the older kids. Ted Nugent even gave us his blessing and donated autographed goodies for a silent auction. Our shoot had (2) kids win paid admission for the “Ted Nugent Kamp for Kids” in June

Remember if you do not have equipment........ we’ve got all the gear needed to experience a 3D shoot.

The Lake Cunningham Archery Range is located at 9100 Pawnee Rd. between 84th & 96th streets. Pawnee Road is located about (1) mile North of (and parallel to) “Highway 36” and about (2) miles East of “Highway 133”. Please note 72nd street is closed for construction between “I-680” and “Highway 36”.

All you kids come out for a fun day and help support a parent!
