Life is good in da swamp! Boudreaux da Cajun been fish'n down by de bayou all day long but he done run outta night crawlers. He be bout reddy to leave cuz of havin' no bait when he see a big ol' snake wit a big ol' frog in his mouf. He knowed dat dem big bass fish likes frogs, so he decide to steal dat froggie. Dat snake tho, he be a cotton moufed water moccasin, so Boudreaux knows dat he had to be real careful or he gonna git bit. Real careful like he snuk up behine dat ol' snake and grab him roun de haid. Dat ole snake was surprised and din't lak dat one bit. He squirm and wrap hisself roun Boudreaux's arm try'n to get hisself free. But Boudreaux hada real good grip on his ol' haid. Well, Boudreaux dun pried dat cotton mouf's mouf open and got de frog and put it in his bait can. Now Boudreaux, he be in a bit of a quandry cuz he know dat he cain't let go dat snake or he gonna bite him good . . . . . . so he had hisself a plan. He reach into de back pocket of his bib overhauls wif his udder hand and pull out a pint a Tennessee hillbilly moonshine likker. He pry dat ol snakes mouf open again but dis time he pour some drops of dat likker in dat ol' snakes mouf. Well, dat snake's eyeballs dey roll back in his haid and his hol body it go limp. Wit dat, Boudreaux toss dat snake into de bayou, den he go back to fish'n. Ol' Boudreaux is feelin' like he is a purty smart fella. A lil while later do, Boudreaux dun feel sumpin tappin' on his barefoot toe. Dis scares him but he s l o w l y look down and dere be dat big ol' cotton moufed water moccasin . . . . . . . . . . . . wif two more frogs. Life is Good in da swamp!
