My step son has an orginal switchback that the top limb split in the same mannor. Mathews replaces the limbs in a hurry. He was only out for less than a week. It is an 05 model. I bought one at the same time. I have shot mine more than he has with no problems. My thought is every bow maker makes good and bad. You only here the bad. I would not trade my switchback for nothing.

I have the same bow as you do....I would not trade it for anything, well except maybe a 35-38 inch version, and a better grip....:p :p

lol...the one I liked the best on the AT thread was "Was that thing left in a hot car?". I scrolled down to see when the improper pressing was going to get blamed. I like the hot car excuse better!

It happens to all bow makers.

Limbs fail. Plain & simple. I personally have only had a limb crack. It was fixed without question. No big deal.

I shoot Mathews and I would not change anything it happens to the best of them. This I feel is not a big issue because no one got hurt. I also ride Harley's and look at the bad rap they get with the great EPA you buy a $20,000 bike and you have to stick a $1000 in new pipes and computer adjustments just to get it run right.:frusty: :frusty: :frusty: :frusty:
