Just wondering what arrow and tip weight I should be using to get my switchback to paper shoot perfectly. I have a 30" draw length and my bow is cranked all the way down so it is somewhere around 75 pounds. I have been shooting Carbon Express 300 with a 100 grain tip and have tried Carbon Express 400's as well. I am trying to get the most out of this bow balancing speed and kinetic energy. Has anyone done any testing on the same bow? If not does anyone know a website that I could get this kind of info?
    Thanks

    :welcome:

    what arrow length??

you must have them things cut to about 26" if your shooting 300's....

also you will need to be a little more EXACT on the draw weight.....

    I second the :welcome:

But I would be careful with the 400s they seam WAY to under spined for 75lbs. 400s are what I shoot out of my 60 lbs bow.

Choose an arrow that is correct for your bow. Plug in the numbers in the above site and see what you get. Many arrows of the same spine can vary greatly in weight. You can play with the arrow weight and you will see your speed and KE change accordingly.

:welcome: And I hope this helps you some.

I ran a generic setup thru to select a spine for you. Let me now if there is anything different on the setup I list and I will be happy to run it thru again. Figured a 30" arrow to allow broadhead clearance of the risor and your hand.
