Just went to the pro shop today to get a new bow and shot the Vectrix and the Switchback. The Vectrix had a very very smooth draw and virtually no shock upon the release. The switchback was unbelievably smooth. I had to ask the guy helping me if he was sure that the bow was set at 70lbs. He checked and it was! I was shooting a Martin Jaguar Magnum before, it was set at 62 pounds, and was 2x as hard to pull back as the Mathews! Upon release, I had to check and make sure that I shot the arrow! There was No hand shock! Not to mention, the only sound I heard was the arrow hitting the target! Mathews outdid themselves with this awsome bow!!!!
Sorry i miss read, I must be gettin tired...the the original is a great shooter too...but why am I tellin you?
No but if he would shoot the Switchback XT he would find that it is smoother and quieter and less hand shock.eace: No really stickman :welcome: to the forum and congrats on the bow.
Thanks!! Thanks for the welcome! It is an XT. I am blown away by this bow! Can't wait for bow season to start. I checked my game cam this morning and had a picture of a nice 10pt. That got the juices flowing!
