Depends on what part of the state you hunt in. North of I-70 you could very well get a 200 lb doe as where around the Ozarks and southern Mo they may only go between 120-140. The buck I shot last season field dressed at 206.:biggrin1:
No trouble at all haveing doe's in the 100/120 range where i live in south east Mo and i have an 8pt that feild dressed 196.Lots of good deer in Mo national forests if your willing to walk and get deeper in the woods away from the atv's.
Fenton here, 20 minutes southwest from downtown St Louis. The wife and I are originally from Springfield, MO and go back to see the family at least once a month. Going back this weekend actually. Hey MOBuzzCut are there any good archery ranges in Springfield you would recommend? I would like to possibly do a bit of practice shooting while visiting relatives this weekend. Has anyone thought about a Missouri gathering to show off their bows and skills, share stories, tips, beer and BBQ? Would be a cool thing to go to, I would be interested.
Archery Quest has a 3d range they are on Pythian they are also in the Phone Book that is the only 3D range in this town. If I could get the Capital Backing I would open a range.:amen:
