I install a new sight, the bow is shooting high I max out the vertical adjustment and it did come down about half way. What can I do to bring it down more ?    "HELP"
What type of sight? When you say you maxed out vertical adjustment, was this on the sight pin or the sight housing itself? How high is your arrow shooting? Is your bow tuned to the arrows you are shooting? Before changing sights, were you shooting good? Maybe post a picture of your set-up.
Frank, its a spot-hogg hunter and the adjustment was done on the houseing. It started 10 in. hight got it down to 3-4 in.Would like to bring to housing back to center do I raise or lower peep or adjust rest
is your anchor point low???? had a guy that had the same problem as you and it turned out to be his anchor point being very low..... So correct me if I am wrong but moving your peep up would help I think.....
Okay, if your hitting high move the sight up or the peep down. Like a rifle, move the front sight in the dirrection of where you're hitting or the rear sight in the dirrection you want to hit.
The peep is probably too low, making the anchor point too high, making the sight elevation adjustment bottom out. Close your eyes, draw the bow, settle into a comfortable anchor, open your eyes... Where's the peep ? I'll bet it's too low. Good luck. Ron
So did I. I didn't want to admit it though. You forced me to. Goes to show you that you generally learn from your mistakes... Generally.... Ron
