Alright, I picked this bow up from a friend back in Febuary of this year. He bought the bow brand new in '06; and never shot it at a shoot that I know of. He did shoot a few times for set up and practice (not very much at all).

It is an '06 Bowtech Allegiance in chrome and black. The cams are black chrome. It has a Sure-Loc Supreme sight with a magnafied lens (don't know what power) and a clairfier peep. The stabilizer is a 29" Doinker with 2 9' rear stabs. The V-bar is Shibuya. He threw in the draw mods and a half dozen Easton Fatboy arrows and a bowpod. I paid less than $600 for everything. Did I get a deal, or did I pay about average?

    Here's some pics:

Just wondering, what kinda glare or shine do you get in your eyes on a sunny day? You could blind the shooter next to ya if the sun hits it just right

Yeah, it's kind of bright on a sunny day.

Unfortunately, I haven't had time to set it up for me yet. The draw is a little short and the peep is too low, so I have to get it set. I don't think that I'll be shooting the fatboy's, I'll stick to my GT's thank you so that means that I'll have to recalibrate the sight......right?:noidea:

To be honest, I have never shot in the open class. Don't know how well I would stack up against the "big boys".:frusty: I guess I'll give it a shot once the bow is set up. What's the worst that can happen?:noidea:

Very nice rig! I wouldn't have guessed it was an '06....looks new from the distance the pictures are taken...and I'd expect you'd see swirls and tiny scratches easily on the chrome if there were any.

Now, to figure out how to harness that reflective capacity to your advantage. I like the whole "blind your neighbor" approach....or added illumination of the target, maybe?

It's definitely an eyecatcher...and you can always check your hair and make sure you don't have gunk stuck between your front teeth when you have your bow handy. :D
