I am in discussion with a friend of mine about which stake we should shoot from. Is the curve of the bow limbs or the cut of the riser that should determine the stake to be shot from? I am shooting a Horne Recurve Mountain Bow (50's style) not center cut and he is shooting a Fox Long Bow, reflex limbs. His bow seems to be more center cut than mine.
    Just want some other opinions.
    Thanks,

For the local shoots around here, you shoot from the same stake.

Yeah...same here. Traditional equipment all shoot from the same stake.

Yep, all traditional equipt shoots from the white stakes. Open class shoots from the orange stake. According to the IBO rule page and that is pretty much the way it has been at all of the shoots I have been at.

We have always shot from the White stakes. The new IBO rules are specific.
I just don't see much difference if you shoot a bare bow off the shelf. "It ain't the arrow, it's the Indian!"
    Thanks for the replies.
