I'm one of "Those hunters" that loves archery and hates rifle season. There are a huge number of reasons why and most of them can be read about in the local papers. What I want to know is does ANYONE know why our archery season stops on 11/10? Is there an actual real reason for it or is it to give the rifle hunters the idea that the woods have "calmed down" enough for them to go in there and shoot each other? Also, why does our season stop again on 12/8 until after X-Mas? is there an actual reason for it or is it just an old leftover law that will never be corrected like the No hunting on Sunday law?
