I shoot in my backyard right before dark when it's not as hot. Just been shootin a bag target. I need to break out the foam deer.
Yup tha time has arrived. dusk till dawn oh I mean dusk or dawn from an elevated stand if ya hunt from one.
And remember ta bend at tha waist
I think I'm gonna use a ground blind this year. I took a spill off a ladder in January and messed my left ankle up pretty bad, multiple surgeries and lots of plates and screws to fix. I'm just now starting to get back to normal.
I'm a little leery of ladders. :censored:
Oh my. How in tha world did ya fall.
i can't say as I blame ya either.
I have said that huntin' from tha ground is like being plugged in ta 220v
I like to spend the month of july and august hunting ground hogs with my bow. By the time the season comes around I either have a lot of confidence, or I have no arrows
It was an old ladder and it actually broke while I was climbing. To quote Chris Farley, "The doctors say I have a little bit of a weight problem" :hungry:
I usally shoot every night at dusk...to get used ti low light...
I normally shoot about sunset. It's alot cooler and I can practice low light shooting.
Just remember, use the 60 and lead them!
3D every Wednesday evening. I ususlly get my round in between 7-8:30 PM. Perfect!
in Texas in August i like to shoot indoors with the A/C running..... :biggrin1:
all the time at home...
Got me a platform built on the side of the pole barn.
I try to get up there and fling arrows two or three times a week during the summer. Thats not counting what I am doing with the target bow.
i like to practice from a tree stand to be more realistic
