Ok, this should stir the pot.:biggrin1:

Which bow company will make the biggest waves with a new bow for 2009?

We should start hearing some grumblings in about 4-6 weeks.
Anyone want to make a prediction on who is going to make a big move? Oh, and be sure to explain why you think so and what you think they will do!

Do NOT turn this into a bash fest. Tell us what you expect or hope or want to see from your Favorite bow company.

the new Mathews R2D2 will make the biggest impact, allthough slow as dirt, it will have more dampeners then every before......

so many dampeners infact that it will acctually atract noise from the enviroment and quite the outdoors down......

    what:noidea: it could happen....

    gotta go with Bowtech/Diamond, cuz I'm a Blowie.........:noidea: :biggrin1:

I'm gonna predict an improved short stop because so many people complained. maybe more center pivot bows and a few less solid limbed ones.

I think the new Elite's that are already out, Z28 and GT500 will be near the top.I hope Blowtech gets their limb prob fixed. Does Mathews have a new design dept anymore or just a redesign dept.:noidea:

Elite is going to have more advanced bows for 09, right? Or have they already hit the wall of ultimate technology?

Though Elite has a nice bow, and other companies may make the most amazing bow, that does not mean they will make the most waves. I think the shear volume of anual new bowtech owners will simply silence out any other parties. And bowtech should have a nice bow..if they don't pull another general upgrade on us.

Bowtech combines speed and forgiveness in the guardian, and it was quiet to boot-people loved the combo, but this years general or whatever their #1 08 bow is is almost the same as the guardian. I've shot both and have to say I almost lean towords the guardian as being better.

I have been looking at Bowtech,I like what I am seeing and even more so,what I am hearing about them...We are more than likely going to buy 2 new bows next year...They dont have to be the new bows of 09,they just have to fit...They have the features me and my wife are looking for...

    Ball bearings in the Cams..
    Decent brace height
    Soft Cam option
    Silent
    Good limb pocket design

the Binary Cam looks like a instant timing system to me,neat idea...I want to shoot a few of their bows...

I have been wondering about a single cam, center pivot Diamond, but it is possible that it will stay exclusive to Bowtech.

Martin is going to try to break into the speed world.

PSE is going to put another Primos sticker on an X-bow and may have something into bringing back AR.

Mathews is going to begin to regret the "Solocam" part of there name and may develop a Dual cam under the Mission Name.

Finally Elite will introduce there 2010 bow in January 2009 and everyone will have to trade in there 2 month old bow so that they can get one and put a pie plate stabilizer on the end. :biggrin1:

I'm pretty excited about BowTech's 2009 offering... something tells me the "wow factor" will be ratcheted up a notch. :biggrin1:

I have seen alot of stuff that I expected to see hear, so Im going out on a limb here. Everyone I was around always talked about the Big 3 names in archery, so when I started out this year I tried to do alot of research and find a good company that seemed to care about its customers, quality, etc.. After several weeks of reading reviews I decided to try a Parker. Even though Many of my Buddies have alot of the bows you have all mentioned in the threads on this forum, Ive had a great time with my Parker Phoenix, and wouldnt trade it for anything right now. They seem to be improving their stuff all the time, adn I look to them to become more mentionable with the other big names in the next few years. Time will tell, let me know if anyone else likes or has tried Parker Bows. I would like to hear what model of Parker everyone thinks is the best. :usa:

No need to improve them. The vectrix xl is the toughest most smoothest bow hunting bow ever made. Nuff said.

No I just dont think they will make any really big moves. THere is no point in trying to predict what there actions will be because we will find out in the next few months anyways.

I own 3 Ultra Elites and a Katera which this season is ending up taking a back seat to my camo ultra elite. I just think hoyts are rock solid well constucted bows and really dont need to shake things up to much cause they still sell really well.

I would like to see them bring back the Spirals that would be fantastic.

Now What I would love to see from them is 32" ATA, 340fps, 7.5" BH huntin bow and I would be very happy.

Darton will have a lighter, faster bow out this year. I have never really been a big Darton Fan, but this one sounds nice!
