Just had a new set of cables put but now my bow went from being quite to being extremely loud before all i heard when I shot was the release and the arrow now all you hear is TWANG and yes i have an sts on it but thats all
Is this a normal occurrence when u have cables changed?

What kind of bow ? Cam and a 1/2 ?
Cam timing may be an issue.

Boy, not sure... Did the original cables have silencers on them and the new ones don't ? My Allegiance sounded different until I put silencers on the new cables like the factory cables had... Different string material ?

Just lobbing ideas out at this point...

A lot of times when you change cables and you are using a different diameter end serving, it makes more play or slop in the groove. This in turn means more noise. Find out how many strands are used in factory and what they used in your new cables.

yep, Chris is right on that !!!! also verify that that cable is the correct length. I've had cables shipped for a specifc bow that were not correct. And a lighter string will twang alittle to. Especially Vapor Trails.. Depending on material you had them make too .
