I have trouble spliting my pins at 3D shoots. I cant see between my pins. I was wandering if a clarifier would help this problem? I cant wear my glasses to shoot then I cant see the target. Any informatiion would be helpful.

    Thanks Mo.Hick

if your pins are so close that you cant see between them why not take every other pin out and compensate???

I don't think a clarifier is what you want. You might try a verifier, though. They are meant to clear up the pins. You might also try going to a smaller fiber optic.

Yup what he said! If your bow is very fast you have to change your pins... or if you can't see through them

    Make it

15 30 45 60 instead of the usual and it will help

Yep, what sharpspur said. Clarifiers are for scopes, verifiers are for pins.

If you decide to try a Verifier (made by and for Specialty Archery) you should see if a shop has them. They come in about 5 different diopters and you need to try them. Too high a diopter and the pins will be sharp, but the target will blur badly. They also have the nasty habit of reducing the light coming through the peep, just as any type of lens will do.

Frankly I agree with the other guys about eliminating some pins. If they are that close then a Verifier might not help anything either. For example, I have a rather slow bow (260 fps) that I've been using for 3D. I have three pins on my Real Deal, but only two of them are sighted in, that being for 25 and 35 yards. It leaves lots of room in between for gap shooting. Being an oldster I don't have to shoot anything over 35 yards around here so it works out pretty well.

What's the third pin for? Who knows. I guess just something to clutter up the sight image. One of these days I'll sight it in for 60 yards so I can practice long.

Thanks for all the help. I have thought about gaping my pins futher apart. Just hoping for a easy soultion. I am shooting 290 fps. After what I have read here I dont think a varifier is what I want. Thanks again for all the help! That is what I like about this sight. Everyone willing to help.
