I'm just getting back into archery after not shooting my recurve for about 18 years. It's a Fred Bear Kodiak Mag. 50#. 1. Aluminum arrows still OK ? 2. The nocks of my old arrows seem to be tight on the new bow string, should this be or should the arrow nock be loose ? 3. What are the distances on a 3-D range ? (max/min) thanks.....j2farm
Yes, Aluminum arrows are fine, but they need to be the right size and spine. If your nocks fit too tightly, take your bow to a pro shop and have them re-serve the string with smaller serving material. 3D ranges vary depending on your class. Usually, traditional classes are 20 yards and under.
