Just bought Bowtech Tribute on ebay. My rest and sight will not fit this bow. The threads seem bad, think I may have purschased a lemon. Any ideas on how to re-work the threads to attach the rest and sight. Thanks.

If so I would be leaving some :censored: - feedback on that one. Check and make sure you are using the right bolts. If you have to, gently run a tap through the threaded holes from the backside to clean up the first couple threads on the front side that are keeping your bolts from starting. If your lucky it will just be the first few threads that are messed up. The riser should be aluminum so just use some WD-40 and some common sense with the tap if it gets to that point!! Good luck.

I agree with that. Leave a bad feed back!!!!!! unfortunately that happens on ebay... If your not comfortable tapping it your self. take it to a pro-shop to have them do it. good luck and sorry to hear about that..

yupper, bad feedback is the way to deal w/this problem, then take it to a good pro shop, NOT GANDER MOUNTAIN, and have them do it for you....

I agree with the idea of tapping the holes out, preferably from the opposite side, just clean them out. I used to work at a----------GANDER MOUNTAIN-----and even had to do this once in a while with a brand new bow.

And using the right bolts helps, too. 5/16X24 for the rest and 10X24 for the sight holes.
