    rangefinder

I got the nikon 440 rangefinder for Christmas but I know it is about $200 and you can get it at wal-mart or Dick's if you want. I like it so far it has really helped with my range estimation. I play a game with it; I walk around everywhere with it and guess yardages from 10-60 yards or so and then shoot the actual yardage with the range finder.....I find that I am now pretty good at esimating to w/in 5 yards or so in most cases after a couple of weeks of this. I hope I am ready for my 1st 3d shoot of the year this sunday.
