Need any advise I can get on shipping bow to Australia. Have you sent or received one? How did it go? Thanks in advance.
It seems like usps air mail is the best and cheapest way. Fedex wants $243.00 for 1 week delivery. Usps is under $60.00 for 14 day delivery.
if it helps! A guy bought a bow from me in frankfurt germany last year! The fed-x air was $119 if that helps!:biggrin1:
Rates going up I'm finding out if I would have sold bow 2-3 months ago shipping would be half . It has doubled in last couple of months
$243 for 7 day delivery???? that is highway delivery...... tell me somethingis this for shipping it assembled???? if so I would look into dissembling it and packing it a much smaller box.... thats what the guy did for me, worked like a charm......plus the people had no idea, what was in the box......went thru custom's in less than 24 hours.....
Wants bow assembled. Buyer wants bow shipped ready to use. But wants it cheap and fast. Something has change. Getting quote for USPS Air tomorrow.
make him pay for shipping and just a warning... if customs gets a hold of it there is no telling HOW long it will take. My personal opinion is never ship international. Its not worth the headache, hassle, and increased cost.
Shipping After talking about price quotes, (I sold for price plus shipping) Buyer agreed to tearing down bow. It cost $54.80 Best quote shipped assembled $176.00
International shipping We find you can go from the US to common destinations for around $70 with USPS. DHL I think might have better deals to Australia.
A little known fact ! I got a package from Australia recently ! eace: Is this an old thread or what ? :noidea: Now you know !
i sent a bow to there through the mail system and everything went well. i sold it on archerytalk and the guy left me positive feedback. another (satisified customer) aint that right rx?
