Anyone ever sight in the bubble on the level of your sight? Mine is right on about 90 yards. I was shooting a 4'x4' block target our shop uses just fooling around. I don't see how those guys on the internet shoot groups at 90 yards, fobs or not I think thats ridiculous!:noidea:
My sight doesn't have a level bubble. I'm not trying to hijack your thread but whats the point in those (fobs) anyway....can you hunt with them?:noidea:
I'm curious what fob is. I have my level 'sighted' in on my target bows back to 80 yards. I need ever advantage I can get.
http://www.starrflight.com/ No more fletchings, its an airfoil for your arrows. There are videos on youtube of people shooting them amazing distances accurately. I wouldn't try shooting one through a whisker biscuit:lol: I wonder what happens when you hit an animal, I imagine they just pop off. Don't know if I really like that idea or not?:noidea:
pin settings I have 5 pin sight and trying to set it up for tournament use. I understand 5 pin set at 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60 was usual setup. On my local field course one target is 80 yds. I had not thought about using the bubble for 80 yds. I have a TruGlo TruSite Xtreme Micro 5-Pin, which means using a allen wrench to change any settings, so no easy adjustments like a really good tournament sight. What about setting them at 20 30 40 60 80? That means the 50 yd mark is between 40-60, so it is aim between the pins. It also means 70 yds is available as a sight between 70-80. What do you think? OK, I know someone will suggest buying a different sight, using this sight what do you think?
Fletching Only Better (FOB). I use them and love them. I have a level on my sight. I have never shot out to 80 yards. I do have it set up to 60 yards and can put 5 out of 5 in a paper plate.
