this was something I was learning.
Nice. I've done a few with splices. You using a burner after or just matching height? You will be pissed when you trash it shooting..
Just got lucky. I am going to get a burner and chopper soon
I just matched up feathers, swapping what was cut off. I found I had to leave them in the clamps a little longer to keep it in line. Looks good.
You just did that? And you are just learning? That's talent not luck.
Looks outstanding.....Way beyond me. I'm happy just getting my vanes were I want them.
Whats really nice is how he matched up the color change with the cresting colors and lines.

I agree, Art.
Nice looking arrows!

feather splicing tip
If you use the Bohning the fletch tape, you can puth the feather peices in your clamp, tape them together, and leave them until you need them. The fletch tape works great for feathers.
