The shoot was very good, except for 2 minor glitches. There was some confusion about the unmarked doubles, and having back to back doubles caused a huge back up. I thought I was back at the Rinehart 100!!!

Other then that, it was a very good course. The little targets kicked my a$$. A racoon on a branch, with a rock wall behind it got my target panic going, and set the tone for about the next 10 targets till I battled through it. you wanna see a Beman 9.3 grenade against a stone wall!!!!...lol

I ended up sucking with a score in the 230's. Jen shot the hunter stake, and ended up with a 252 I believe. Way to comeback from a goose on the first target babe!!! Jared beat us all with a 259. Mellissa shot a 209 from the womans stake. Excellent for he first shoot, and after only shooting a bow for about 3 weeks.

Here are some pics from today.....

Jared shooting the beaver. That is such an evil backstop for a little target!!!

No jen...we really don't want our picture taken!!! Try having us say CHEESE! next time!

Last year at this shoot, Paul (vonotto), and I got into a bee's nest pulling arrows on a target. I was told there was a surprise for me at that target this shoot. Sure enough, walk up to target 5 ,and there is a standing bear, reaching for a paper mache' bees nest, with real bee's glues to it. Was a great prop. I think I'm emotionally damaged from the reminder though. My lawyer will be in touch Adam!!!
