My hands are always clammy this time of yr. and I am constantly drying them off every other shot. My question is, what would you use to wrap on the grip or along the thumb pad that won't compromise feel and shape of the grip?

    clammy hands

I personally do not like anything on my grip, but do wear a glove for somewhat of the same reason.

I was shooting the R100 last year and they have a event called the steel target challenge.......

anywho, i was paired up w/a guy who happened to be shooting a C4, same grip as a Prestige.....

i noticed he had something on his grip, just where the heal of you palm would go.....

so I remembered the other day and Pmed him......

this is what he told me:rockon:

"Go to Lowes or some place like that and buy step grip tape. It's usually in the ladder section, it's made for putting on ladder steps or anything else for that matter that you don't want to slip on. It comes in a package that will last you forever, the strips are about 12" long and I cut them with a pair scissors. Hope this helps."

Heck, I remember when I put the first 30 or so shots thru it that the thin hard grip killed my hand. Now I absolutely love the grip, so even if it was a little rough at first I'm sure I'd get used to it pretty quick.

Yeah, you could buy a 16" X 8" sheet that they make for stairs, cut it in strips, package it, then sell it to guys on AT.

I got one better, the first shots I took with mine were just enough to sight it in(15 minutes before a 300 round) and then shot the last night of league with it, set on 64 lbs......shot a 297 48X:p

    talk about agony:laugh:

now, i cant get used to any other grip......

I'm not trying to put a dent in anyone's post, but if you decide to put that on your bow, make sure your going to leave it on.That stuff sticks.I use it on the steps of our camper and after a while, from twisting your foot around on it,a corner or edge will pop up and i though i would just pull it off and put another pc down.Well,i pulled it off after some tugging....and the factory paint on the step came off with it.So you might want to test it first.
