Any comments, reviews, likes, dislikes, tweaks (if I get 1)
I am currently using a NAP quicktune 3000

I shoot an 06 BT Tribute with a 27" draw @ 65lbs. I shoot CX maxima 350's and was toying with the idea of switching to the 250's to gain a lil speed. My arrows are cut from nock to INSERT at 27 1/4"
Now I know to gain speed with switching arrows I will be losing some KE. Would the gain in speed be worth the loss of KE. I use 100g field points and broadheads

I am also thinking about giving FOB's a try if I get this rest.

For the money I wasn't happy with my drop zone....it was noisy when the arm dropped.

I ended up with a rip cord for hunting....I like the way you can set the lancher arm up and trap the arrow on the rest.

I have drop zones on all my hunting bows...I don't plan on changing either. It is a good rest.

are you sure you can switch arrows without being underspined? My suggestion would be dont worry about speed and practice guessing yardage, im sure you're bowtech is plenty fast :thumb:

If you want to see slow, i'll let you shoot my hoyt sometime :biggrin1:

I've seen alot of Drop Zones getting rebuilt. I love my Ripcord.:peace: But different strokes for different folks. Shoot what you like.:noidea:

  10. The DropZone I had before my 08 came in had zillions of shots on it - maybe even katrillions.....no wear problems, no rebuild needed, nada - rock solid like the day it was built.

In my opinion - you can not go wrong with a DZ.

Vonotto has one for sale - $60 ...get ahold of him - good way to try one without breakign the bank.

I've been shooting a drop zone for 4 years and a deer has never jumped my string(release). No problems so far, shot it on a Parker for two years, now on a PSE X force for the last two. Lucky so far I guess.
