Can anyone tell me the right way to select right tip weight? I believe it is something like dividing the difference between the middle of arrow and the balance point with the total arrow leght.
Try the following links. They contain calculators for figuring your FOC. http://home.att.net/~sajackson/archery.html http://www.goldtip.com/calculators/foc.asp
But what are you shooting the arrows for Hunting, spots or 3D? I know for spots you want a heavey tip 3D you want some weight but not much, Speed is where it is at. Hunting it is what you want. I use 125 because I will not shoot a deer past 30 yards. So I want impact.
Try out on target software, it costs around $9 bucks for the shaft selctor. You will not have to ask questions ever again about your setup.
