trail cams?

    Just looking for opinions on trail cams. Does flash scare bucks or not. I was thinking of getting new IR's. Any advice helps. thanks

    I don't think so. I had a buck that stayed long enough to get 4 shots feeding then came up and almost put his nose on the camera. My camera is set to only shoot every 5 minutes. It was only an 8 point but didn't spook up. Got his photo several different nights.

    I agree. I have a Multrie 4.0 game cam...cheapest on the market for $99...big ol' flash goes off every 5 minutes...and every deer that comes into my plot stays for at least 6 photos...that is 30 minutes at least...and I have a ton of pictures of them looking right at it when it goes off.

    They don't care...save your money and stick with a normal flash. Then all you need to focus on is how fast of a shutter speed you want.
