actually I fell twice. Once my harness broke and the other I was hanging it about 26 ft. up...
OK, after safety, bending at the waist. Try to keep your upper body in the same "t" form as shooting on the ground.
make sure everything is attatched......:frusty: :frusty: dropping stuff from 20 feet is not funny.........
Try thinking where the exit hole will be. things change when you take a sharp angle on shooting. Also, make sure that everything is quiet no creeking or metal clanking.
take an empty bottle.....I always sit holding an arrow nocked, bow across my lap in case one sneaks in. Keep em coming i need all the help i can get!!!!!!! Jim
Yup all these are good reminders Here is tha one thing that will git you busted quicker than any other To fast a movement All movement must be xtremely slow and deliberate i move my hand up close and in tha middle of my body if I nee ta use it for any adjustments or what ever. No quick head jerks ta see what that was i have had deer come in behind me and never see them as they move out for fear of moving and being made Stillness in golden and deadly Ol Poppa Dean of SC taught me this valuable lesson in 76'
scent control, I got my huntin bladder, and an empty bottle for the leftover Skoal. all the other tips are good as well. I would like to add, if you are able to do so when hanging your stand, try to have a good cover, if not around you, behind you. sometimes that one perfect tree doesn't offer cover, but because of a deers sight, a good background can help also.
