Has anyone shot triditional shoot's lately,or know ruleing's at tournament's? If you did shoot would you use wooden arrow's or aluminum or carbon? Is there a rule on arrow's?:biggrin1:
Freakcurves! I heard you & others talking about setting up targets for tournaments & are in clubs that have a triditional class along with other classes. Maybe i heard wrong! Anyone else that is on this sight & runs a 3-d shoot that knows the rules in the triditionals class please answer some simple questions?:noidea: >>> LONGCUTS<<<
I don't think there is a rule...around here guys shoot cedar, aluminun, and carbon...??? Most shoot aluminum, probably for cost reasons...:noidea:
Ha! I aint worried about what bowman says! BTT-Im thinkin about bringin the freakcurve for fun to the reinhart & shootin 1 day with my target bow an the 2nd freakcurve class. I just wanted to know if i had to use wooden arrows? Ive got about 6-dozen aluminium & 10 dozen carbon but no wood i just woundered if you had to shoot wood?:biggrin1:
Thanks bm! I didnt think so. I was just checkin. Im still waiten for this bow to get here! I dont know why i like the thought of flinggin 1 off a stick at that alein target if they have it there! The funny thing is when i first started shooten 3-d it wasnt really 3-d it was thick cardboard targets set at unknown distances in the woods. I shot a bear kodiak recurve instintive class, there were about 50 archers and only 5 or 6 shooting compound, with sights.<<< man im gettin old>>>
Hay bowman! Not to get off-topic whats wrong with off-topic, ya try to start a new thread & it dont get posted until tomarrow,it does this to me every time, does it do it to you?
how did you know? We did we thought it was the funnest lookin thing we ever say. Back then they were using 6-wheeled bear whitetails & 4-wheel browning heavy wooden risor bows. The first compound i bought from sears was a 6-wheeled whitetail for $59 It was around 1978 I shot 1 sight pin at 30yds and fingers. That how i got into working on the things back then they fell apart all the time & no one knew anything about them.:biggrin1:
1978 6-wheeled whitetail.....falling apart all the time..... ................jump foward 29 years.................... 2007 Bowtech Gaurdians......blowing apart all the time....... ................we have made progress though......... now they do much more damage when they blowie apart.........:biggrin1: :tape:
its to controle the spammers and the porno guys....most of the spammers will lok thru a site and find the off topic section....and post there porno links there......
Hey KBO just PM Cody he shoots traditional all the time he can hook ya up with the rules and all. He shoots everything but has recently went to wooden for his tournaments.eace:
