any one have any ideas as to how to quite this fall away down at release?

You might try a small piece of felt in the groove that it falls back into upon release. I asume thats the one you have?

I use the Ripcord and I have felt on both sides of mine to keep things quit, I also have a felty type material on my bow rest as well, that way when it drops it drops felt against felt.

i enjoy the fall away, i'll try to shove some felt in the bottom and see if it helps.
