    Monday.

    Meramac Caverns. Sullivan, MO.

Toured the cave, saw Jesse and Frank James hideout. Convinced my 8 yr ole that not all caves are full of bats and spiders.

    Lamberts. Ozark, MO.

Just had to take the wife and boys to let them experience the "throwed roll".

    Bass Pro. Springfield, MO.

The mothership of Bass Pro shops. I went to see the Fred Bear museum, but it was closed for renovation. Sure would have been nice to have known that before I made the extra 8 hour drive.

    Tuesday.

St. Louise Science Center. Pretty cool place for an 8 yr old. Not so much so for a 34 and 6 year old.... :)

    Wednesday.

    The Zoo. St. Louis, MO.

Lots of walkin.....lots of sun. It's amazing how one can ignore the smell of the penguin house to enjoy the air conditioning....

    Arch. St. Louis, MO.

Probably the weirdest structure I've ever went to the top of.

    Thursday.

    Grant's Farm.

A neat little park. Lots of animals and a couple shows. Good for a 1/2 day.

The City Museum. St. Louis, MO.

This place was a little strange. The kids loved it. It was kinda like one of those playgrounds at McDonalds where the kids climb through the hampster tunnels, except it was a 10 story office building and when the kids disappeared into the ceiling or floor, we had absolutely no idea where they were gonna end up. So.....that meant old dad had to follow them through the tunnels and down the slides. Made me realize just how out of shape I've gotten.

Did you go through the log tunnel with the rebar on it at the St. Louis City Meuseum? That thing always scared the crap out of me. If you ever come back to Mo., don't go any futher north than I-70. There is nothing to see up there.

I went through the outside wire tunnels all the way up to the highest slide and about every tunnel, crawl space, nook and cranny in between. That place wasn't built for 6' tall fat guys.

    Isn't it though?

I had to help a woman out of the dragony cave section. She had a panick attack right there at the bottom by the geodes with her kids. She was freaking out big time.
