depends.... i would say i probably hunt mostly from the ground.... i use my guilee suit(shaggy suit) and just sit under a tree or in the brush most of the time..... however their are occassions i get in trees as well.... depends on wind direction, weather ect.....
did u make it or buy the suit
I'm always up off the ground with very very few exceptions. Summit's rule!
bought ..... works great.... been inches away many times(100's)
if i am in a tree.... summit is the only way to go....
but when on the ground no blind required.... just pick a spot and become a bush.... this pic is from Cabellas but you get the idea... works for 10 of us that hunt together ......... they allso come with sleeve and chest straps for bow hunting ......

Its treestand for me. I just like looking over top of everything.
not a fair question for those of us that hunt texas hill country and west texas.... the tallest tree out there is 8 ft and full of thorns..........
now east texas and when i go up north to wisconsin i will climb a tree occasionally
We have a few oaks that I can press a tripod up against as well....I split time in a tripod and in the double bull.
Up in a tree in my API climber.
In the trees for me. I like my climber the best.
I voted treestand because that's how I've always hunted, but I'm using a ground blind this year due to injury.
love to hunt out of my Double Bull when I can. But about 1/3 of the time I use my Tree Saddle.
No Doubt a Tree Stand for me
I use Ladder stands, hangers & climbers
Mostly swamps with giant oaks where i hunt.
Some fields i use a tripod when i cant find a tree where there crossing!:biggrin1:
I have a few stands...but I hunt on the ground the most, with improvised blinds
Always a climber....bow and fire arms season.
The new ground blinds are very portable, and go up in a flash.
I am almost always in my Summit Bushmaster x4
I hunt primarily out of my climber...
BUT.....I have taken 8 deer on the ground with a bow and arrow, and NOT from a ground blind!
Try it sometime.....eye-to-eye.......
