I have a 3 inch long, 1/4 inch wide, 1/16-1/32 inch thick sliver flaking off one of my bow limbs. Some people have said to stop shooting the bow until it is fixed (by "fixed" they mean replaced). Others say it's small enough that it shouldn't be a problem as long as it doesn't get worse. What do you guys think? Here are some pictures. http://img206.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img2425by1.jpg http://img339.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img2426nf0.jpg Thanks, Eric P.S.-if anyone has one of these limbs (PSE F-4 Maxis) I will gladly buy it.
I say stop shooting that thing...:noidea: I would contact PSE about limbs...They are a decent company to deal with...
I wouldn't be able to shoot relaxed enough with my bow looking like that. Don't take any chances, get a new set of limbs and have peace of mind. :biggrin1:
You could start another poll and ask if people think you need both eyes. Just giving you a hard time, GET IT FIXED!!!!!
I would not draw that bow until the limbs were replaced. Might feel kind of silly with a piece of that upper limb embedded in you forehead.
If you are going to keep shooting it can I get insurence on you? Stop and get it took care of. You may want to back the bolts out a little to
Ha,there! I wouldnt shoot it, get a limb or fix it yourself, If ya want to know how I can help! Ive repaired cracked limbs before, i can tell you how, shoot me a PM! Only if you cant find a limb!:biggrin1:
Figured... well as long as there is a strong breeze from the south it should blow that limb piece right back into place and your arrows should fly fine... now if there is a northern breeze your arrows will miss by about 2 feet to the left every time
