#1. Do you focus hard on the pin #2. Focus on the "X" itself #3. Use peripherals for both #4. Other, Explain please....
I have been practicing using peripherals but sometimes I struggle w/ my right eye (non dominate) giving me a blurry image, or a slight 2 pin affect. Trying to get past that. Any Ideas?
I said X because x marks the spot on the deers heart. I have found when I am struggling it is because I am focusing too much on my pin.
I answered the pin...I try to focus on the target, but feel like I am looking mostly at the pin. When I try to look at the target, the pin doesn't cooperate :noidea:
Agree with post #4 You always want to focus on the X. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. Never lose focus of the X. The pin will go where you are focusing. thus the arrow will go where you are focusing if sighted in correctly. When you throw a baseball do you focus on the ball or the place you want the ball to go?
I see what your saying but throwing a projectile isn't the same thing as firing one. I understand the idea of focusing what you want to hit but I tend to get anxious when I focus on either solidly when I am shooting for a perfect score. I don't have the problem when hunting. Those dime sized 12 rings on a skunk or honey bear don't leave much room for error at 30 yards.
ha I voted other. when i get ready,i stare at a spot and consentrate on pulling the bow back and form, put the pin on the spot im staring at,and shoot. deer dont have X's:lol: J/J i do the same on foam and spots
