I am wanting to buy a compound for my 10 year old son. I would like to have something that he can also grow into. Maybe be able to change out the limbs as he get older and grows more. What do you all think? What works good for you all? Thanks
:thumb: :thumb: I agree with glyn on this one. I bought my son a Buckshot last year and it is a very sweet bow. Simple 18-28 inch draw length change with an allen wrench. 30-40 pound limbs that you can trade in plus $50 for 40-50 pound limbs. I bought the outfitter package for I believe $289 came with bow,rest,quiver,sight,3 carbon arrows. Great deal for young kids bow grows with them.
At the shooting range today there was a small boy shooting a new Bear Archery bow that looked pretty good. His dad said he paid only $200 brand new with a WB rest, site, 3 arrows and quiver. He said it had like 15" of draw length adjustments! I believe Bear Archery has 2 different new bows like this. It might be worth checking out also.
Thanks for all of the advice I will be looking into everything starting tomorrow. I look forward to any more future advice.
What do you all think of the PSE? I am waiting for the local shop to open tomorrow so I can talk to them about the parker.
Look at the new Matthews Ignition. It will grow with your son. The replacement cams are cheap to change draw length and the lims are cheap to change weight.
